Baptism rituals performed in Ahvaz

A small ethno-religious community in southern Iranian city of Ahvaz performs baptism rituals for newborn babies.

In Mandaeism, when a baby is born, she should be baptized one month after birth. The most important pillar of this monotheistic and ethnic religion is water.
